I washed the dress to lift the color transfer stains, replaced the boning in the bodice w lightweight flat steel w dipped tips, repaired stabilized the two section at underarms, and lastly, finished the top edge of the bodice in black velvet to cover & stabilize the weakened & worn fabric there.
